Mechanical Engineer
Perform all routine mechanical engineering calculations. Perform mechanical engineering duties; plan, design, and oversee the equipment specifications, requests for proposal and a final design. Gather, analyze, interpret, act upon, and pass on all pertinent project data. Maintain an informational database on all pertinent equipment information. Coordinate with structural, electrical, and chemical disciplines during the engineering for design-build projects.

Review designers' drawings. Develop subcontractor bid packages for piping, millwrights, insulation, etc. Perform periodic site visits to verify subcontractor conformance to drawings and specifications. Coordinate with site superintendent to address construction questions and issues. Perform cost estimating and create proposal documents for the mechanical scope of potential projects. Assist with equipment commissioning and startup as required. Coordinate with equipment vendors to solicit quotes and generate equipment purchase orders.

Be aware of all safety, health, and environmental issues that impact the project and all personnel.

Electrical Engineer
The primary responsibilities of this position are to estimate, create Request for Proposal to third party vendors; recommend 3rd party electrical engineering firms based on results of the RFP, specify and order electrical components and equipment, coordinate information between programmers and electrical contractors for I/O points, specify and order all instrumentation required for the project, possess the ability to understand facility power studies and VFD studies. Ensure adherence to plans and specifications. Candidate must be able to understand project and have the ability to support multiple projects and tasks in multiple locations, possess strong organizational and communication skills. Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling and implementation, to provide management oversight for all phases of the construction project; including coordinating workers, material, and equipment; ensuring that specifications are being followed; work is proceeding on schedule and within budget; and anticipate risks and costs related to the technical aspects of the project.

Site Supervisor
Plan, direct, and coordinate activities concerned with the construction of an industrial facility following OSHA 1926. Provide management oversight for all phases of the construction project, including coordinating subcontractors, materials, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within design parameters.

Coordinate and communicate between Engineering, customer, and subcontractors. Supervise and train on site project staff as needed. Utilize construction knowledge to manage the project and provide feedback to project management on safety concerns, progress, and quality. Receive, store, track and issue materials to subcontractors supplied by NBB.

The ideal candidate will have a background in pipe welding/fitting; be knowledgeable in mechanical, concrete, and electrical subcontracting; and be willing to travel. We will train the right person in our project management system.

Must be able to successfully pass any local, state, or federal background check requirements. Must be available to travel and work more than standard hours when necessary. Physical activities including standing, sitting, bending, walking, and heavy lifting >40 lbs.
